The annual general meeting for Theatre Workshop Coulsdon (TWC) is to be held on Wednesday 14th October at 8pm, in the Jubilee Hall at Coulsdon Community Centre. The agenda, last year’s minutes, the Secretary’s report and Treasurer’s report will be sent to the membership by e-mail nearer the time. A limited number of copies will also be available on the night.
If you wish to become a member of governing Committee of TWC for the upcoming year 2026/27, then you should send your self-nomination to the Secretary by e-mail no later than 5pm on Friday 25th September. You should also state what position you’d like to be considered for, namely; Secretary, Treasurer, or one of the five Ordinary member positions. You won’t require another member to either propose or second you, but you should provide a short “pitch” outlining why you want to be a part of the committee and what qualities and/or skills you can bring to the role. (A maximum of 250 words).
If, once the nomination deadline expires, there are more nominations than positions on the committee, an election will take place. Notification of this will be given to the membership in advance of the AGM. Voting takes place on the evening of the AGM, but if you’re unable to attend, notify the secretary and arrangements will be made for you to vote via e-mail. The count-up takes place immediately after the vote casting is complete, and the results announced. The new committee will take up their roles with immediate effect.
