Coulsdon Community Centre
Our home is the Coulsdon Community Centre on Barrie Close, and has been since our inception back in 1970. The Jubilee Hall is a large event space with capacity for around 180 seats, and a purpose-built stage which suits our needs well. If you’re coming to see one of our shows in the Spring or in the run-up to Christmas, this is where we’ll be, though be aware that the seating is on a first come, first served basis, so arrive early to get the best seats. A bar and kitchen selling drinks and snacks will help make the wait for the curtain to go up far more comfortable.
From 8pm to 10pm most Mondays and Wednesdays throughout the year, we rehearse in the Jubilee Hall and we’re happy to have prospective new members come down and take a look at what we’re doing. It’s usually better to message us first and let us know you’re coming, just to make sure we’ll be there. For each production we run a series of set-build and costume/prop/tech set-up sessions on selected Sundays. These are usually very busy, but they’re a great way of seeing exactly what goes on to help create our shows, and there’s usually more chance of meeting and talking with people from the group to get a feel for it. Message us if you’d like to take a look.

Coulsdon Manor Hotel
For our Summer productions, we leave the Centre and head for the great outdoors, something we’ve been doing since 1993. In 2010 we took up residence in the grounds of the Coulsdon Manor Hotel, tucked away in a copse of trees between the fairways of the golf course. It’s a short, but well sign-posted and illuminated walk from the large car park to our arboreal auditorium, and we have volunteers with golf buggies to assist those with mobility issues. The hotel provides a bar with drinks and snacks, and hot food is also available to order. As at the Centre, seating is on a first come, first served basis and not only should you arrive early to get the best seats, but you should also bring your own comfortable chair or blanket to sit on and something warm to wrap yourself in for the latter part of the evening. It can get cold.
